IIG Announces Suspension of Fuel Surcharges

Effective with shipments commencing on Monday March 2, 2009, IIG is suspending all fuel surcharges from all of our production facilities until further notice. Due to tracking to the Energy Information Administration (of the Department of Energy) weekly index, IIG fuel surcharges have declined by at least two-thirds since being implemented last July. Although these lower charges to IIG will persist, we agree with our customers that all of us must do our part to continue to offer relief during these difficult economic times.
